"The Legends for Charity is a Group of mates coming together to camp and raise funds for charity. The group is made up of everyday people who love the outdoors, and who love to help others. 

Every two years, they create a new event. The next Big Camp will be at the Mansfield Lakeside Caravan Park. Near the Victorian High Country. Raising money for two local charities. The Big Camp is a great way to meet new people, make new friends, and feel good about yourself. All whilst enjoying our beautiful high country."

Swiftcrest Distillery have released this Limited Edition "Swamp Gum" Dutch Apple Pie Moonshine with 20% of all sales going back to "The Legends For Charity". This years charities are the "Mansfield RSL" and the " Starting Over Dog Rescue".  

Both charities are close to our hearts, and we are proud to be able to do our part in supporting them. We have created this specially designed label and limited edition batch just for the "Legends of Charity".  Born in the mountains and made for campfires. These won't last long!

Made using local Swamp Gum honey from a secret location near Tolmie.  These gum trees only flower and provide honey about once every seven years. The flavour of this honey is rich and treacle like with luscious burnt caramel top notes and a slightly smoky flavour.  

Apple Pie Moonshine has been a staple spirit in the Appalachian Region of the United States since the late 19th century.  We pay homage to our vodka/moonshine still named "Sue" (she was made in Kentucky) by creating our Dutch Apple Pie Moonshine.

Why Dutch? Hank's folks emigrated form the Netherlands to Australia in the late 1960's.  Oma brought with her the Dutch Apple Pie Recipe handed down through the family for generations.  These same recipe ingredients are used to make our Dutch Apple Pie Moonshine with one exception, it is sweetened with local raw honey and certified biodynamic apple juice. If you like the pie, you will like the shine!

Sustainability underpins every single drop of our handmade Vodka's, Gin's and Whiskey. At Swiftcrest Distillery we are completely "off grid" and use wind fallen timber from our property and a wood fired boiler to heat our stills. We grow our own botanicals and use water from our natural granite filtered spring to make our spirits.
